Broadly, we are looking for large-scale problems that the workshop director and participants believe can be improved by a little coordination, effort, and thought.

We are most excited to host workshop directors who have an interesting topic and

• Aim to work with their participants to figure out answers

• Find and execute on a course of action

• Believe that their gathering could be a real step forward on a challenge

We like

• People trying to tackle something challenging together - (intentional effort) 

• People trying to think through problems for themselves - (reflection)

• Dispersed teams/departments that work on these problems already and would benefit from in-person, in-depth work -  (collaboration/ getting brains on a problem together)

We hope to see and host 

• Genuine attempts to try to solve problems 

• Participants have enough space and time to contemplate tricky questions 

• Getting groups together that would not have otherwise had a chance to work together
